Lebendige Rasenmaeher / Living lawn mowers

We could not catch up with the lawn mowing anymore ... that's why there are 30 horses grazing around Nick's and my house (s. photo). Nice when you sit at the computer and hear content chewing.

Tuesday night we had a heavy hail storm, Wednesday it rained most of the time. Today it is hot and sunny again but our hay (the cut one and the bales) doesn't look any better for it. And when the bales are wet, one cannot store them.

On Wednesday I was in town to pick up our new guest, Kathleen. She and the others are in South Dakota today to help Brandon move cattle. Below a photo of the group on Tuesday. Lisa on Tucker, Norm on Ginger, Andreas on Juno, Jo on Classy, Anthony on Chocolate und Thomas on Poncho.

Und ein Bild vom Polo-Match in Sheridan, wo man schon seit ueber 100 Jahren Polo spielt. Wer haette das gedacht?

And a picture of the polo match in Sheridan where they have been playing polo for more than 100 years. Who knew?

Gruesse aus dem Wilden Westen!
