Es gibt uns noch / We are still here

Sorry, wir haben diese Woche so viel zu tun, dass ich gerade nicht dazu komme, lange, geistreiche Blogs zu schreiben ;-)

Sorry, we are so busy this week that I don't find the time to write long and witty blogs ;-)

Brandy und ich sind immer noch dabei, die Lodge fuer die Saison vorzubereiten. Dann werden Brandon und Brandy noch zwei Tage in Belle Fourche (South Dakota) verbringen, um mit Brandons neuen Arbeitgebern zu sprechen. Ein sehr interessantes Projekt, ueber das ich noch berichten werde. Nick wird Donnerstag und Freitag einem Nachbarn beim Schafe scheren helfen (und unsere gleich mitnehmen). Ich werde Jim Bob besuchen und ihn dabei beobachten, wie er seine jungen Bueffel trainiert. Und am Freitag kommt Andy an, sprich ich werde zum Flughafen fahren. Samstag kommt unser neuer Wrangler schon mal vorab (er faengt fest am 19. April an), um Hufe zu trimmen (er ist gelernter Schmied), danach sollen wir zu Nachbarn (ca. 60 Kilometer entfernt) zum Babyshower ... und, und, und ...

Brandy and I are still working in the lodge to get it ready for the season. Then Brandon and Brandy will spend a couple of days in Belle Fourche (South Dakota) to meet with Brandon's new employers. A very interesting project that I will tell you more about later. Nick is going to help a neighbor shear sheep on Thursday and Friday (and will take our sheep with him as well). I will visit Jim Bob to watch him train his young buffalos. And on Friday Andy will arrive and I will drive to the airport. Saturday our new wrangler is coming out (he's starting work on April 19) to trim hooves (he is a trained farrier), after that we are going to a neighbor's baby shower (40 miles away) ... and, and, and ...
