Im Sommer ist es mir zu heiss, im Winter zu kalt. Nick meint, Frauen kann man es eh nie recht machen. Heute ist es kalt und grau, und mir ist nach Sommer zumute. Deshalb ein Bild von unserem Bueffel Daisy am See.
In summer I don't like the heat, in winter I don't like the cold. Nick says, women always complain ... no matter what. Today it is cold and grey and I feel like summer. That's why you get to see our buffalo Daisy at the lake.
Nick und ich walken morgens wieder. Ansonsten ein oder zwei Stunden Arbeit mit den Pferden und dann Bueroarbeit. Brandy und Anke sind fleissig am Kochen, da wir noch Jagdgaeste haben.
Nick and I have started walking again. Then one hour or two horse work and the rest of the day is spent in the office. Brandy and Anke are still busy cooking for our hunting guests.
Brandon und Brandy werden demnaechst alle ihre Ziegen verkaufen, damit sich Brandon auf seine neue Arbeit konzentrieren kann. Er hat ja bereits diesen Sommer fuer Investoren zwei Ranches in Sued-Dakota gemanagt. Im kommenden Jahr wird die Familie entweder nach Sued-Dakota ziehen oder nach Montana, wo die Investoren weitere Ranches erworben haben. Unsere Gaeste von diesem Sommer kennen die Dakota-Ranches bereits. Vielleicht helfen wir im naechsten Jahr beim Rindertreiben in Montana.
Brandon and Brandy are about to sell all of their goats so that Brandon can concentrate on his new job. He already managed two ranches in South Dakota for a group of investors this summer. Next year the family will move there or to Montana where the investors bought more ranches. This year's guests already know the Dakota ranches. Maybe we are helping with cattle work in Montana next year.
