Am Freitag haben wir Brandon geholfen, Rinder in der weiten Praerie Sued-Dakotas zu sortieren. 360 Grad Unendlichkeit. Am Samstag sind dann leider Britta und Annett schon wieder abgereist. Wir haben Mandy aus Neuseeland in Rapid City abgeholt. Heute morgen haben wir ganz frueh Rinder getrieben, weil wir um 11 Uhr im Auto nach Sturgis sitzen mussten. Dort findet ein Ranchrodeo statt. Ich bin zu Hause geblieben, werde Euch aber die Foto der anderen in einem der naechsten Blogs zeigen. Meine Kamera ist kaputt ... muss eine neue kaufen. Bin fuer Tipps dankbar (gute Kompaktkameras).

On Friday we helped Brandon sort cattle in the wide prairie of South Dakota. 360 degrees of endlessness. On Saturday Britta and Annett had to leave. We picked up New Zealander Mandy from Rapid City. Early this morning we moved cattle, we had to leave for Sturgis at 11 am to see a ranch rodeo. I stayed home but will show photos our guests took in one of the next blogs. My camera is broke ... have to buy a new one. Any advice for a good compact camera?

Britta, Annett und Vanessa sind noch da, Rudi, Romina und Sabine sind wieder zu Hause, und Jasmin, Claudia und Gabi sind angekommen. Chris auch ... aber mit viel Verspaetung. Heute muessen die Neuen zeigen, was sie koennen, denn morgen gehts auf einen langen Ritt in der Praerie Sued-Dakotas.

Britta, Annett and Vanessa are still here. Rudi, Romina and Sabine are back home and Jasmin, Claudia and Gabi arrived. Chris, too ... but with some delay. Today the newbies have to show what they know because tomorrow we'll go on a long ride in the prairie of South Dakota.

Britta und ich hatten gestern Geburtstag, juenger sind wir leider nicht geworden. Heute feiert Barbara, leider in Deutschland. Nick hat mir eine Liege geschenkt ... fuer all die freien Stunden, die ich im Sommer habe :-)

Yesterday it was Britta's and my birthday, unfortunately we did not get younger. Today Barbara is celebrating, in Germany. Nick gave me a recliner for outside ... for all the spare hours which I have in summer ;-)

Leider hatte ich keine Zeit, um zum Rodeo Dance und zum Rodeo zu gehen, aber ich bin sicher, dass die anderen Fotos gemacht haben, die ich dann in den naechsten Tagen online stellen werde. Uebrigens: Alle Maedels (Vanessa, Romina, Sabine, Britta, Barbara und Linda) haben getanzt. Nick und Rudi waren die gluecklichen Herren (Tav hat sich den Fuss verstaucht) ... Annett wollte, aber der Jet Lag war staerker.

Unfortunately I did not have the time to go to the rodeo dance and the rodeo but I am sure the others will have taken photos which I will put online within the next few days. By the way: All girls (Vanessa, Romina, Sabine, Britta, Barbara and Linda) danced. Nick and Rudi were the lucky guys (Tav strained his ankle) ... Annett wanted to go but the jet lag was stronger.

Anbei noch ein paar Fotos von Viehtrieben, Brandings und anderen Dingen ... falls Ihr mehr ueber Brandings wissen wollt, tippt den Begriff einfach in die Suchfunktion oben links ein. Und falls Ihr Tipps habt, um Videos auf Blogger online zu stellen, lasst es mich wissen. Weiss nicht, warum es jetzt nicht mehr (oder nur noch selten) klappt.
